The NANOROOF SPS System
SPS stands for Silicone Preservation System. It’s the professional-grade silicone treatment and everything around it that makes it work on a real roof.
What the letters mean
Silicone
A water-based, recoatable silicone that bonds inside the shingle and encapsulates it.
Preservation
It protects a roof that’s still sound and keeps it in service. It isn’t a repair for a roof that has already failed.
System
Not a can of product. An assessment, repairs, cleaning, baseline readings, metered application and a registered record, done the same way on every roof.
What’s in the system
What the SPS System isn’t
It doesn’t sit on top of the granules as a film that can crack and peel. It bonds into the shingle surface.
It doesn’t just soak oil into the asphalt and leave nothing on top. It also encapsulates the granules.
Soft decking, open leaks and missing shingles are fixed first, or the roof isn’t a candidate.
Where it fits
- Asphalt shingle roofs: that pass a roof-life assessment
- Aging, not failed: fading, brittleness and early granule loss
- Clean and repaired first: soft wash and tune-up come before treatment
Where it doesn’t
- Roofs at the end of their life: replacement is the right call
- Active leaks or soft decking: fixed first, or not a candidate
