Roof-life assessment

A free inspection that tells you, in writing, whether your roof can be preserved, what it needs first, and what preservation and replacement would each cost.

What the dealer checks

What you get

A clear answer, either way.

  • Qualifies or not: and the reason, in plain language
  • Photos: of every slope and every problem found
  • Work needed first: repairs and tune-up items, priced separately

When to book one

  • Your roof is 8 years old or more and starting to fade
  • You're seeing granules in the gutters
  • Algae streaks or moss have appeared
  • You're planning to sell, or an insurer has asked about roof age
  • After a major storm

Three possible answers

Every assessment ends with one of these, in writing.

Qualifies

Sound decking, enough granules, no failed flashings. You get the preservation price next to the replacement price.

Qualifies after repairs

A few items need fixing first. They’re listed, photographed and priced separately, so you can decide.

Not a candidate

Soft decking, too little granule left, or a roof too far gone. The report says so, and why.

What the report looks like

Plain language, photos of every slope, and the numbers side by side.

  • The verdict: qualifies, qualifies after repairs, or not a candidate
  • Findings: each problem with a photo and its location
  • Repairs first: itemized and priced
  • Two prices: preservation and replacement
