A job for every aging roof that still has years left.
No tear-off, no dumpster, nothing to peel. NANOROOF’s professional-grade silicone penetrates the shingle and encapsulates it, so the homeowners who never call a roofer become jobs you can take. The whole case is below, and it takes about five minutes to read.
Step 1 Watch the dealer overview

Replacement is the only thing most roofers sell
So you wait for a roof to die, then bid against every roofer in the county for the same job.
Everyone whose roof is aging but still has years left never calls you, because there’s nothing for them to buy from a roofer. That’s most of the roofs in your market.
Every aging roof you walk away from is a job you didn’t have a product for.
Whatever your trade, the roof that’s aging but sound is the one you can’t sell anything to.
You tell the homeowner to call back in a few years, and hope they remember you when the roof finally goes.
You fix the flashing and leave a roof that keeps aging, and the next call might go to someone else.
You clean the roof and walk away with nothing to offer that protects it.
An aging roof stalls the sale, or you install over shingles that may need replacing under the panels.
| Item | Tear-off and replace | NANOROOF preservation |
|---|---|---|
| Demolition | Strip the roof to the deck | None. Assess, tune up, wash, spray |
| On site | A crew, a dumpster, often several days | Applied to the existing roof |
| What the homeowner lives with | A new roof, and the bill for it | The roof they have, encapsulated, with a record and a warranty |
| Who you can sell to | Roofs at the end of their life | Aging roofs with years left |
Be the contractor who says yes.
The aging roofs in your market are already there, and the people who own them would rather keep them.
Most roofs aren’t failing. They’re aging. That’s the larger market, and nobody’s selling to it.
Inspectors, agents, solar installers and exterior cleaners need someone to send aging roofs to.
NANOROOF isn’t sold in stores or to homeowners. The only way onto a roof is a certified dealer.
We don’t make earnings claims. These are the jobs; what you build with them is yours.
Inside-Out Encapsulation
Coatings sit on the granules as a film that cracks and lifts. Rejuvenators soak in and leave nothing on top. NANOROOF’s professional-grade silicone does both jobs: it bonds inside the shingle and encapsulates it.
Two hands on a 3-ft wand, 240–500 psi at the tip (under 300 on most homes), 6–12 inches from the surface, 50% overlap, four-pass cross-hatch.
Most roof treatments ask homeowners to trust them. You’ll prove it.
Every NANOROOF job is measured as it goes on and documented when it’s done, so the warranty rests on evidence.
- Wet-film readings: logged during the spray, so coverage is confirmed slope by slope
- A witness coupon: sprayed alongside the roof and kept as physical evidence of what went on
- Cured thickness: measured after cure and recorded on the homeowner’s certificate
- Registered warranty: issued against that measurement, with the Roof Record behind it

Testimonials are shared with written permission. Dealers are independent businesses and are named as NANOROOF dealers, with their material connection disclosed. Their experience isn’t a promise of your results.
Take your last replacement apart
Strip out the tear-off, the dumpster, the materials and most of the hours. Then run it with your own numbers.
Replacement job
- Tear-off of the old roof
- Dumpster, hauling and disposal
- Underlayment, drip edge and new shingles
- A roof open to the weather mid-job
- Multi-day crew on site
NANOROOF preservation job
- Roof-life assessment and written report
- 10-point tune-up and repairs
- Low-pressure soft wash
- Baseline moisture readings
- Spray application, according to the application protocol
- Roof Record and warranty registration
A job with no tear-off and no new materials can be priced far below a replacement. That’s arithmetic, not a promise. We don’t quote margins, and you shouldn’t trust a number on a web page.

At the 10-year spec a tote covers about 43,000 sq ft before waste.
A small crew, standard tools.
Six steps, the same way every time.
Every certified dealer follows the same written protocol, and every step leaves something on the record. That record backs the warranty, and it’s what you show the next homeowner.

The roofs you never get to bid
Advertise preservation, and the people who call are the ones who never called a roofer: aging roof, years left, not ready to replace.
- Qualifies: you preserve it, with a written assessment and a registered warranty
- Doesn’t qualify: you say so, in writing, with photos
- Either way: you’re the roofer who didn’t sell them a roof they didn’t need. Who do they call when it’s time?
Where the work comes from
The situations that put an aging roof in front of a contractor, and the people who see them first.
Why a homeowner calls
- Granules in the gutters and a roof that looks tired
- Dark streaks and moss on the shaded slopes
- Curling or cracking they can see from the driveway
- An insurer or inspector flagged the roof’s age
- Buying or selling, and the roof came up in the inspection
- Solar going on, and the roof needs years left first
- Not ready to replace, but not willing to ignore it
Who sends you work
- Home inspectors who write “roof nearing end of life”
- Real estate agents with a roof stalling a sale
- Insurance agents whose clients face roof-age questions
- Solar installers who need a sound roof first
- Exterior cleaners and gutter crews on roofs every day
- Property managers with many aging roofs
- Painters and remodelers already working on the house
Preservation is where you start

Spray-applied; it isn’t applied in cold weather.
Spray-applied; it isn’t applied in cold weather. Assessments and booking can continue before the application season.
Typical pattern in a cold-winter market. In warmer markets, application runs most of the year. Every market is different, and we make no claims about how much work a dealer will get.
Homeowners are holding on to what they own
And the roof is one of the biggest bills on the house.
NANOROOF isn’t an insurance product. The dealer gives you the documented condition of your roof; what your carrier does with it is between you and them.
What every job leaves behind
- Photos: every slope, before and after
- Readings: baseline moisture before spraying
- Material: metered gallons applied
Proven chemistry, new to your market. That almost never happens.
The products homeowners trust are old, and the new ones haven’t had their years in the field. Usually you get one or the other.
Commercial silicone roof restoration has a multi-decade track record.

Questions contractors ask
Won’t this cannibalize my replacements?
The roofs that qualify weren’t going to be replaced this year anyway. The ones that don’t qualify are replacement conversations you’d never have been called for.
What if the roof leaks?
Leaks are repaired first, in the tune-up. Preservation isn’t a leak repair, and it’s never sold as one.
Can I apply in winter?
Do I need roofing experience?
Your crews need to work safely on roofs. Certification teaches the assessment, tune-up, soft wash and application protocol.
Will it work on every shingle roof?
A 25-point inspection scored out of 250, with ULEA Levels 1–7, determines whether the roof qualifies.
What is the opening product order?
An opening product order in the $25–30K range: one 269-gallon tote of SPS, a case of elastomeric caulk and a case of liquid flashing. Freight is extra and paid by the dealer.
